Commonplace keeps the practical record a circle needs to continue: its schedule, attendance, decisions, and consented meeting summaries.
What the record keeps
Who made the meeting
Check-ins give the circle a simple attendance history. They do not measure attention, sentiment, or the quality of a relationship.
What the room chose to carry forward
When everyone consents to recording, a transcript and summary can preserve questions, decisions, and next steps. AI output can be wrong and should be reviewed by the circle.
The next meeting
Scheduling, reminders, and votes reduce the coordination work between one gathering and the next.
What this is not
Commonplace does not score the quality of a conversation or a friendship. The record supports human judgment; it does not replace it.
